Maybe Maybe, we're all a little broken,
Maybe, we are all struggling, Searching for a token, Just barely straggling. Maybe, we all have a demon, Which lay deep inside, Keeping us from being freemen, Forcing us to hide. Maybe, we're all a little hurt, For such is life, Maybe, we can't make it out unhurt, Because life means strife. Maybe, we've all loved, And lost another, One we called beloved, Who was our other. Maybe, we're all searching, For some forgiveness, To forgive and start forgetting, Despite our carnal impulsiveness. Maybe, when we're made down low, And sunk beneath the ground, We can choose to forgo, The chains that held us bound. Maybe, you should just forgive yourself, For all your own wrongdoings, Because before one finds oneself, They must understand their own doings.
